Like the title says, i have a very annoying problem with my v6 VS.:bang:
Sometimes...most of the time now...when I go 2 start the car, nothing happens. The fan will go but the engine doesn't turn over.
It will start after a few goes but it's taking longer every time.
This doesn't happen every time but its happening more often now.
I took the car to the dealer i got it from and they replaced the starter motor which fixed it until the warranty ran out.
Any ideas on the problem would be much appreciated

look at the metal strips on the innition barrel that the key has to contact to turn over the engine. On my VS these strips are kinda worn out (bent in) and sometimes the little part of the key doesnt touch it causing nothing to happen and works if u then push the key in and turn...

have somoene turn the key and listen under the bonnet if you can hear a click from the starter which would indicate either a faulty starter solenoid or possibly a faulty battery which isn't supplying enough voltage.
