Thanks matey

I registered it yesterday and took for a spin

The steering is crook, its got power steering easiness in some spots (60%) and some dead spots here and there, like I'm driving an old valiant

This buzz in the new pump might be part of the problem (which ill get a 2nd hand $50 pump) but am now leaning towards the rack having issues too. Looks to be leaky under there. but might be the main seal coating it

I expected the steering pump buzz to scream with the high revs but can barely hear it inside the cabin

Is the rack easy (besides the tie rod location settings? get it out whilst car on car stands

It can be done on stands. Highly recommend having a assistant to remove and install the rack as it needs to move sideways, rotate downwards as it comes out.

The pipe fittings on the rack can be a PITA, use proper pipe spanners to break them loose and then some shorty spanners to do the rest. Easier if you have small hands and stock exhaust manifolds fitted.
