VF 2 Honeycomb grill compatible on VF1?

Hey Guys,

Just wondering if anyone knows if the honeycomb style grill on the VF2 would fit the VF1 models. I'm not too bothered by the bumper styling on the Series 2, but I did like the new grill. The shape look similar from what I've seen, but could be wrong.

Thoughts?

Won't fit mate. I bought one for old Series I and it wouldn't fit and I sold it for a loss, complete waste of time and money.

What car's it for?
Don't the base VF1's have a honeycomb grille; if I'm remembering correctly & they do, would that insert fit into an SV or SS bumper?

The evoke had a honeycomb grill but it a different style to the SSV

I did it years ago on my VY Berlina. It was a simple task and the end result was a big improvement on the standard grille. Cut out the horizontal bars, fill in the gaps that are left, then cut the aluminium mesh to size and secure with hidden fixtures. I reckon the same could be done with the VF. I have a photo of the finished job somewhere if anybody is interested.

Hi mate I have a vf evoke 2015 and was told from someone on the forum that the Calais front grille will fit but it turns out it doesn't. Is this correct? Thanks
