VFs2 ssv redline
Hi all , I was just wondering if anyone has put an exhaust from a vf2 ss (Bi-Modal) on a ve sv6. As the ss is getting an aftermarket exhaust and don’t want to waste the old one that sounds good on the v8.

don’t really care about v6 exhaust, wouldn’t mind it being a bit louder tho.

Will be a bit louder with the valves open, closed probably not much difference.

Yep, with your factory centre muffler they'll be a bit louder when open, but not too much louder. A centre muffler delete will get them really screaming, but don't expect them to sound like a V8. Think more along the lines of say a 370Z with a raspy exhaust.

In saying that though, you can probably get better results from VE Bimodals, as you can just plumb a line to any vacuum line in your engine and tap off that to get them actually working instead of futzing about with signals and PWM and stuff. That way if you do decide to replace or modify the centre section the coppers won't give you hell for a loud af exhaust.
