If I'm going to get some done, I'd prefer to get them all done and all matching

Understood.

One more thing then I better shut up for the night! :D

In the early 2000’s I used this company to match some factory VS Calais woodgrain to some other bits which I fitted to my VR that I had back then. Not sure if they are still around, but I remember being happy with their work:

I agree the door trims will be the tricky part to source and fit. Other bits easy. But I don't want to have half and half. Want it to be all the same.

Oh that pic brings back memories. I made 1000's of them when the co I worked for was based in Sydney. There was a grey version of this that looked really nice too
The co moved to Adelaide when the VE was was launched.
Check out Cubic Pacific, they may have stock if anyone needs them.

Hi Drew,
Are you referring to my picture?
That' a pic of the stock VF from series 1.
Is there a grey colour as well?
I thought that' all there was.
Or did you mean Cubic pacific did something similar
Thanks

Just out of interest, does anyone think I'm butchering my car? Should i just be happy with what it has. I generally don't like to mess with the general, but that fake carbon look is a tad tacky.

This question was asked before amongst us Calais owners on here a few months back, and I also requested my dealer to investigate swapping it over.

It’s not worth the hassle, was the conclusion. Ordering in the parts would already set you back $$$.

Wood grain looks nicer than the fake carbon fibre but I’m not game enough to play around with a brand new car.

Cubic used to do all the decorative interior pieces for the Australian car industry.
I'm pretty sure there was a grey version that was for the Calais.
I think the bottom left in the pic is the pattern

Hi Drew
I looked up cubic on their website.
They have a good range of films. But, they don' look like they are a company that deal with the public. Is that the case?
Just thought I'd ask before enquiring with them further

Just give them a buzz. They may have excess stock due to the shut down of Holden. Never hurts to ask

I just tried to email Cubic Pacific at the address on their website, but am confronted with this:

Delivery has failed to these recipients or groups:
[email protected]
Your message couldn't be delivered because delivery to this group is restricted to authenticated senders. If the problem continues, please contact your email admin.

And I thought Holden Cu$tomer Care has poor service. I wish I worked for a company that didn't need to respond to customer emails!
