Not being rude, but if you just bought one, why ask us who dont know jack about them? Ask the dealer where you are getting it. If they dont know, you have a problem.

But in saying all that, it should be a nice car.

I think all the Holdens still have the 270kw power, while with the HSV they're 327 besides the supercharger. Seems to be that holden wanted to prove with the VF is that they can make just as good interior/technology as the Germans and have a decent price on them. Which is why they did little touch ups on the Utes/Sportswagons and keep the same bodybuild for the sedan.

Its really up to you, I think unless your buying the hsv cars the only real difference is the interior which holden said thats the point with the vf model. Though I would love to have the interior of the vf's I love me Sizzle ss ute and the technology to me is great anyways seeing as it does enough for me whether its the gps, reverse camera/sensors etc besides the little leds they put on the front and technology your buying.

Either way it'll be horn, no doubt. Still not too sure on the VF/WN/F-series.

Also, can you PM me your thoughts on the RR Evoque? The Mrs is keen on one, and whilst they are nice I'd be interested to hear from an owner about any quirks n ****.

The new caprice is the same running gear, engine, power, body styling, body panels etc the only difference is the interior upgrades

The WN is the biggest let down. For the most-likely last caprice, they screwed up hard.
No DRLs, no aluminium bonnet apparently, uglier scheme of colours, none of the features you see on euros, like distronic, LED indicators, etc, and barely any body styling, and considering the fat ass they gave the WM, the WN is just a huge disappointment.

Feb 10, 2013: "The flagship Holden Caprice will get the Commodore’s new interior but only a mild external makeover."

Mild doesn't quite cut it. Someone threw an egg at my car, that was a mild external makeover.

What is the cost difference between a caprice and a GTS?, surely if you have that kind of money to buy a new HSV then the GTS would be a no-brainer?

95 advertised kilowatts more than the best FPV has to offer and that's all that matters :D

"advertised kilowatts" being the operative word. Its all an advertising puffup. A lot of Fords at 335kw, are pushing more than that at the wheels in stock form.
Side by side test will sort out the bull.
