How do I do a system reset of ecu? Might be throwing some old codes out.

Will those codes it was throwing out before I reset the ecu still be stored as it’s got to go back to shop warranty
yes.. the ECU should store them until the dealer/shop actually wipes them

Won't a simple OBD Adaptor + App combo be able to wipe them DTCs clean? Of course they will return if problem(s) persists when the car is restarted/ battery is reconnected.

yes.. you can wipe the error codes
but if there is a problem, it does not go away by doing that

Geez, between these codes and the whining noise from your other thread, you're not having much luck with this thing are you?

Considering you bought it from a dealer last week, I'd suggest you don't fukc around with it and hand it back to them to deal with under the statutory three month/5000km warranty, or, (even better) if you have it, extended factory warranty.

Someone like me traded the **** in by the looks of it because of issues and now you are stuck with it. I feel your pain.
