VF Commodore "DOC" connector..

Checking with tester with ignition on/off giving earth from panel and used earth wire from connector as well. Nothing seems working. I have detail of doc connector which wire is which.

I would double check your ground, if you haven't done so already. Apart from that, it seems odd there's no power at all.
perhaps check a known good power source using the ground in the DOC, that will help to see if it's actually connected at all or if something odd is happening.

Just installed a Blackvue DR750X in my MY15 VF1 Redline, this thread helped a lot, a big thank you to everyone!

I clearly labeled the DOC connector for anyone else who happens to come across this thread.

And for those wishing to connect securely without splicing....see attached. Available from AliExpress for about $8. Not sure why this hasn't been shared before? Or maybe it has??

You can get female crimp terminals that push straight onto the individual male pins from automotive stores.

Yes, you can,...but as I've found on these forums, that will never do for those that are too ...anal...to not do it just right.
I may be looking in a mirror.

That's all I used to provide power for my dash cam. Easy and neat installation.

That's what I did.

I'm OCD af, so I soldered fully insulated female plugs on all 3 wires. It was a nice tight fit and I cable tied the entire plug in place.

I would of preferred a proper plug, but couldn't find one at the time.

It can be purchased from Rapid Cables down under for about $5 per female connector while postage is around $10-15

Then you just need to add a few appropriate push in female terminals and your done

I got the plug and pins the other week. I am yet to wire the plug up.
