vf commodore headlights

hey,

I have just brought a 2013 vf commodore and the headlights are set to auto but they are always on. cant turn the knob to off as it just springs back to auto.
anyone know why? it is an ex fleet car so not sure if they have wired it or if it something i can change myself.

I work for Avis and I've found that with all of the cars with auto lights you can manually switch them off by turning the knob after you have switched off the ignition but it will always spring back it took me a while to get used to it.

I recently purchased a 2014 vf SV6 and that works for me, although I'm getting used to trusting the automatic lights I did go into the settings and made it set to switch off after 30 seconds so there's an option that hopefully works for you too.
