Hi,
Can anybody tell me the width of a standard exhaust pipe in a ss VF.
2 inch or 2.5 Inch?
I plan to put a full system in later, but i need a bit of noise in the meantime. Thinking a hotdog , but i think it will only take a standard holden pipe and nothing bigger.
Any advice?
Thanks Gronk

2.25 stock,i have my stock 2013 ssv exhaust in the shed.
2.25 from the cats back to the first muffler,2 inch after the muffler to the centre hotdogs then 2.25 after that.
If its just noise youre after then get rear bolt in mufflers,it will be definitely louder.

i thought mine was 2.5 but 2.25 sounds about right.

you can get more noise with a stock v8 just putting a set of stock bi modals on too and if you need to silence it down a bit you can.

if you want even more volume you can delete the center muffler and put straight through pipes in place of the rear mufflers, it will probably drone though lol

holden is 2.25
hsv is 2.5

hence a lot of people throw on the hsv centre for cheap (if you can still find them these days),
as its larger, and replaces the front muffler with a merge pipe
