Hi All
my question is what car do you load up in dash command for a vf 2013 hsv gts to get all the correct pids running for all the sensors for that vehicle.

Thanks in advanced
Should try a 2009 Cadillac CTS-V with LSA engine. That did not work a couple of years ago though, dunno if fixed. If not then change vehicle type to 2009 Chevrolet Tahoe with LFA engine to log IAT2 Knock retard, among other things. Apparently there was a typo during app development and the PID for IAT2 was assigned to the LFA instead of the LSA engine.

In addition to the really useful transmission stuff in the video, some things I find handy with DashCommand's data fields are:
Fuel Level remaining in litres
Ethanol % and Fuel Rail Pressure
Engine Oil Temp and Pressure
Manifold Pressure and Throttle Position
MAF Frequency and IAT
Cat Temp (in lieu of EGT)

What I wish it had:
Support for wideband
Intake Valve Temp
Other types of Spark
Actual Cam Position
Injector Data (Pulse and Delta)
Actual Engine Torque (reported)

OP what is Little Miss Innocent vs SS Flo Rida?

I'd like those as well for sure! I was impressed because with the Dash Command I got the gauge I was after (TFT) & Id suspect a reasonably commonly sort after inexpensive antidote, but a few other handy features for less than $80.

Hey guys,

I've tried getting my oil temp working through the dash command app(ios) with the extra gm pid's but can't seem to make it work :/
Any clues ?

Cheers,

Anthony.

I took some pics when I searched and added the PID's, mine says engine though... perhaps I've chosen the wrong ones!

Ok my mistake I forgot, but the PID is supposed to be green as in available to use.
So you need to make sure you are logged in to Palmer via internet to verify the GM upgrade, connected to the car via OBD and rescan the PIDs “Validate PIDs”

I'll give it another try and test it out, maybe I wasn't properly connected! Did you have to pay for anything ?
Thanks for your help mate.

I think so, was six years ago... about US$10 which I think was about $20AUD at the time!

i have a blue tooth elm 327 device that works on the torque app on my Andriod.
Put I cant seem to hook it up to the free dash command on my IOS phone?

Do some of these cheap ELM devices only work for certain operating systems?

Yes! You'll need a wifi dongle to work on an iPhone.
