VF Holden Commodore Issues and Faults

In the VE, you can turn the radio / CD on for up to an hour without the accessories on (without the key even in the ignition). Simply push the Power button on the head unit and you get an hour of music.

Pehaps the VF DVD is the same?

Unfortunately not. Turning the power on only allows another 10 minutes.

Oh I see now, that's different, can confirm Davey G-Force re VE left on, and like Vongy10 said it sorta makes sense to save battery. Perhaps is not timer but voltage regulated?

Randomly my VF Calais V forgets my iPhone 5 bluetooth connection between starts of the car. I cannot replicate the issue at will yet.

Anyone else experienced the same?

I have the same model as you, VF Calais V V6 and and iPhone 5 and dont get this issue. I'm in my car quite a bit for work and use bluetooth constantly.

Can U start the car, then stop it, and it should stay on accessories if U don't open the doors.. Or is that time limited also?

Drive in's have bigger screens. It does seem pointless to have a dvd player and not be able to use it for more than 5mins. A company will probably do something to enable you to drive and watch.

Possibly. I've had my stereo playing for about 30-45mins then it just died.

Waste of time going to a drive-in with a VF . The MyLink (which houses the FM Radio) turns off after 15 minutes or so. I watched The Lone Ranger the other night and had to restart the accessories eight (8) times as the whole MyLink as well as the dashboard lights switched off. :bang:
