Did you ever make any further progress on the issue?
I suppose so. I don't have a straight answer.
I put 3 bottles of injector clean through the system, adding it each time I filled up.
It may be still there occasionally, but I don't notice it as much now. I feel it's better but perhaps I've just learnt to ignore it.

I have a had a similar issue, the mechanic kept saying he can't fault it, after returning a few times and showing different guys and explaining it over and over. They checked the balancer and it has little cracks around it, for mine it looks like this is the issue. Shudders at around 1400rpm occasionally worse some days than others, but i think that's because some days ill be slightly more or less aggressive on the gas pedal, high revs are fine, its just at the low rev range and significantly worse at 1400 rpm.

Hope this helps

Any chance of a photo? Would be helpful to understand.
It's definitely better, but I think there is an issue, it's now very faint vibration and sometimes I don't feel it at all, where as before it was definitely vibrating more at the 1400 rev range and it was seeming to be getting slightly worse over time, unless that's just in my head ‍♂️. But I'm much happier with the new one

Thanks. Now I understand better.
I have become very sensitive to vibration/misses in my car now - hopefully, you're not also suffering with OCD hypersensitivity.
So the "vibes" I feel in my SV6 may always have been there, but I just notice them more.
My other car that has a rattley V8 in it - now that's a rough bit of kit.

Ive just bought a 2014 Vf Storm V6 sedan 6 speed auto, i have that vibration like driving over a cattle grid when feathering the accelerator ( not there all the time though ) , even there when cruise control is set and it speeds up, im thinking it could be a torque conveter shudder, its not there if you put your foot down hard, as soon as i can after Christmas shut down i will be getting a transmission flush and filter change, hopefully that will fix it, will post again after ive had that done.
