I got my personalised plates back when they didn't charge an arm and a leg for issue and yearly fees. Saves having to remember when changing cars.
Mine .... initials + 05L. Peter Brocks number and engine capacity, both of which are now outdated. Unkind people ask if I have a half litre engine. .

yeah my plate references my VT.. which i havent owned in like 15 years .

i just got to lazy/cheap to pay NSW tax to update it.

For the love of god, please don't get one with VF or SV6 in it. I don't get people obsession with repeating their car brand/model in personal plates. It says it on the back already.

If you are a Victorian resident, get free Historic Vehicle plates for the car from VicRoads Free. Zero. Zilch. Nada.
After all, Holden is indeed historic now.
