Tpms is it just replacement valve stems, or does it require a full stip and fit for each wheel? Need to get them fitted on the new wheels today, and the guy said it needs to go to a tyre place.

 

They usually need to strip the tyre.

Can anyone confirm how many keys are supposed to come with a new car?
I received two with mine, but just saw this in the police fleet thread.
So do the police get an extra key or am I missing one?

Master at the station; one for allocated driver; most important one for the fast food gofer...

 

Not sure why police get 3, but I work in Government and for our standard pool vehicles we get 2 sets, but for executive lease vehicles we get 3, two sets for the executive and the third is held at the office for backup when they inevitably lose theirs.

 

Had a cop into work this morning so asked the question.

Each officer in the vehicle (driver + partner) have a key and a third key is kept at the cop shop to which the vehicle is allocated.

 

Much comment about the wheel red centre caps that come with the Redline (?) and the Special Editions.
Are they available as a spare part ? Part number and cost ? and do they fit pre-VF genuine alloys ...... like a CV8R wheel ?

 

Cost I think written somewhere else was said to be $220.
I guess they would fit ve rims, but I think earlier rims centre size is different.

I should clarify that it is not a set of 4. You need to buy 4 x 92286946. Holden site said set of 4 but its not.

 

I put a small dint on my Redline today.
On the flat section of the wheel arch on the front guard. The paintless dent bloke says he can't fix it. So my question is, has anyone had a paint repair done on Regal Peacock? If so, how did the paint matching turn out?
