Do you think it is worth it to upgrade from an 09 omega to a 2017 sv6? Is it much faster? Or if my 09 omega drives fine now would it be a pointless upgrade?

Go and drive one, then decide.

I upgraded from an '09 Omega to a VFII SV6 and I absolutely love it.

Well that is about as much chalk and cheese one can get! Take your cheque book as you wont leave the dealership without the VF!

When is my next service due as per holden service book?
Car was bought 11/15. The last service was by Holden 03/16 @ 15,000km. Is my next due 18months from the bought date/30,000km which ever occurs earlier, or 9months from last service making it 12/16 or 30,000 which ever occurs earlier?

Im doing extra oil changes, and plan to get is serviced by holden the least amount of times, but enough to keep the warranty

Your next due 9 months or 15,000km from last Holden service which ever occurs first.
