VF Sedan Tail Light Globe

Hi guys. Tried searching. Is changing the tail light globe (corner one, not the boot one) as much of a nightmare as I've heard? Does the bumper need to be dropped just to access the assembly's globe holder for the brake/tail light or is it simpler than that? Thanks legends

Tail light is just a matter of moving the carpet in the boot to access the light
Yes, but from what I've seen the light needs to come out to get to the globe. For the light to come out the bumper needs to be dropped

No, it doesn't. You can access the globes from inside the boot, but you have to remove some of the boot trim first (see attached image from owner's manual). If you have a manual, it would be a good idea to read it -- it's surprising what you can find hidden in its pages.
