Hey all, one of my mates has done some upgrades and has offered to give me his VF Series 2 Redline catback. I have a VF Series 1 Redline. Both cars are manual.

A couple of questions:

1. Is this going to be a straight bolt on swap?
2. I'm not expecting aftermarket exhaust noise but will it even be noticeable or worth the hassle?

Thanks in advance.

@[paradox] beat me to punch.

The cat back well bolt straight up depending if you get the rear mufflers as well.
but as far as I know it’s only the rear mufflers are different on series 2. Meaning there’s still a central muffler in the middle of the car like this

What your probably better off doing is getting a HSV centre section and the series 2 rear bimodal mufflers.

Do some searching on the forum there is a sh*t load of posts about the exact question.

Just bolt up the mufflers and see how it sounds. 10 minute job if it's the same cup flange on both.
