Interesting, mine was same, now with cam added to W375, it idles in neutral at 3.1l/hr and idling in drive (braked and not moving) at 3.8l/hr. I still get 440 on highway and as low as 300 in town, but with 422kw it's a heavy foot and fun for me.
Hell tryg that is a heavy foot !! Mild cam you say ;) just posted my graph on other thread but you're starting to make me feel more comfortable. Thanks heaps for your posts.

I still think it might be best to follow other advice on here and get a second opinion dyno run, something seems a tad off, but I am certainly not the best at interpreting those types of results. But, how can you not use the V8's potential, the byproduct will always be liberation of hydrocarbons....!

Exactly! I didn't buy V8's for their economy, I bought them for their 'consumption' and the amount of 'smiles per mile' they bring.
Although on the highway they are fairly economical considering how much grunt they produce.
And they're hard to beat in 'overtaking power'.

VF II SS Redline ute...

Peak hour run to work and back usually get anywhere from 15.5 to 17 litres /100km over the tank. Best I've had so far is 10 litres/100km on country trips at 110 km/h. City average speed is very slow, 29 to 34 km/h. All the idling just kills any hope of good econ!

Yeah, I get much the same... stop start is the real killer for fuel consumption (as is the desire to hear and feel the motor  )

Yes it measures on the last 25, 100 or 500. I was trying to work out what you meant by 24.4 now I get it. EG 25 would be 6.8l/100km
It gives the fuel consumption averaged over 25, 100 or 500km. Not as a figure that you need to multiply.

Oh it gets worse. I was around 18/100km in my LSA. Added the Walky W557 kit. Now in the city about 27/100km. It is going back to the tuner this weekend as they expect around 18/19. Needs the short fuel trims adjusted at slight throttle which is city usage. On the freeway it isn't bad. Lord knows what it would do if you tracked it. Car itself goes like a missile.
My 30th Maloo manual, i drive a little on the soft side, 80% 110/90/80 cruising, 20% city, 11.8 on the dash.

Most of the kms I do in my my17 vf2 redline ute are around town, get anywhere from ave 12-13l if I don't give it too much stick and then to 17-18l same driving scenarios but with a bit more "spirit". Only longish (~600kms) trip ave was ~9l.

Just out of interest.
For people who have had the intake, exhaust, headers and tune.

How much did it improve fuel economy?
I’m tempted to go to MorPowa later in the year and get that fitted. I’ll be adding a few k’s to the car (auto).

Just getting some fuel economy information to sway the other half :)
