    Number 1 lesson learnt?
Bureaucrats and low level pen pushers can be blind to reason and logic unless you pay their toll

    Number 2 lesson learnt?
Car companies don’t really won’t to help you mod your car and would rather you buy their top model with the bits you want.... ka-ching

    Number 3 lesson learnt?
Always wear eye protection when grinding  (still too soon )

PS: I like your mod and the fact it’s legit.

Very nice. They look better than the black versions of the HF20's

Are they easy to change without removing the caliper? What about the pistons? How do you push the pistons back in?

There are 2 pins that goes through the caliper and retaining clip , just knock them though with a nail , i'm sure there are other tools better suited . I just ease the pistons back carefully with a flat head screw driver while the pads are still in .
In saying this , I have 6 pot and 4 , I assume the six are the same as the 4 pot front . I haven't needed to change a set yet , but I have removed and reinstalled the new pads so I can't see a problem with easing the pistons back , just do it evenly.
The one thing I did pick up on in this thread is that some pads are directional and worth taking a note of

    Good guides here

There are a few ways to push the pistons in...all which are straightforward...
