Vf SS gearbox oil

Hey Guys my SS manual gearbox is starting to get a little notchy. Is everybody still using transmax z or penrite pro lube in the tr 6060. Does the box have to be over filled like the old T56 in the VE

.. do NOT overfill (the early T56 issue of noise is not a problem anymore)
and
Penrite is the go these days (plus it appears Castrol have stopped making Transmax)

yes.. but make sure it is the right one
(there are 2 but only ONE suits TREMEC boxes like on VEs and VFs)

Go to the Penrite website mate, it will tell you.
I have used MotoFluid in the past, I think they are in knoxfield from memory, they are Penrite dealers.

About to do the same in my new VF2 hate the thought of ATF in my M6, will change it out over the break.

Gentlemen all I am seeing is the Pro Gear for the T56, cant see anything specific for TR6060 unless I have my beer goggles on.

TR6060 is a version of a T56 tremec.

Yep progear 70w75 is what you want got 2 2.5L bottles for $41 at supercheap auto yesterday, takes about a hr to do, you need a tom thumb style little pump awesome tool
