Is this a ticking noise?
Try some searchage, I believe this was widely reported, particularly in the earlier Holden-badged ones.
If still under warranty, might be worth trying to do something about it while Holden still exists.

I’m having similar issues with mine along with major issues with Holden who refuse to replace the lifters at their cost because I was late on a service. They guys and girls have put some good advice on the thread I started today (https://forums.justcommodores.com.a...holden-due-lifters.283085/page-3#post-3108263)
