Hi guys

I am removing 'black edition' badges from my SS and will replace them with standard 'ss' badges.

I would like to put them in the exactly same location as from the factory and hope someone can take some measurements on your car and post it here.

Badge lenght (bottom line) would help too
Cheers

Measurements like in the pic would be great. I.e. distance between door edge to the bottom left corner of the badge and then the distance between the right bottom badge edge and the bottom of the door.

Hey Xonar. It's hard to be exact with a tape. Passenger side - Bottom left S is 140mm from the the bottom edge of the door. Then the bottom point of the next S,
is about 78-80mm from the rear edge of the door.
The drivers side badge sits a bit further back nearer the rear door edge. I'd say 70mm to the bottom point of the first S (i.e. the rear most S). 140mm from the bottom. Hope that helps.

That's perfect mate, thank you.
I will first make the cardboard template based on your measurements.
Baking paper comes to mind too as it's transparent :)

Will give this a crack next weekend :)

No worries mate. Good idea to make the templates. You might even tape on the actual badges to ensure the level and position looks spot on. Let us know how it goes.;)

I took some measurements tonight and 'black' badges are also positioned 140mm from the bottom of the door. They are positioned 90mm from the edge of drivers side and 100mm from the edge of pass side. This will make the job easier. I will make template based on these badges and then move ss badges closer to the door edge as per you measurements. Approx 68mm for drivers side and 78mm for pass side. Should be easy

The black ed badges might look good further down, below the SS, on the flat section, below the line?
