On this subject will an aftermarket catback system bolt up to the factory bi modal mufflers ?
gets asked plenty. short answer depends. long answer yes, no, maybe.

ask the supplier or tell us what system it is.

VF Redline.1970 Dodge R/T Challenger 440 six pack.
They generally don’t bolt up as the factory bimodal has a cone type attachment and after market is a flat flange,if you want factory rear muffler to bolt up to after market just go to muffler shop to lop the cone off and weld on a flat flange,very easy to do.

some of the the factory bi modals also come with a flat flange.
so if people are looking to buy them second hand you can find them with both types of connections.

Planet parts eBay store have some for $230 so I would think anything around that is ok.
