VF SS series2 squeak on cold start up

hi guys I recently bought a vf ss series2 a couple of weeks ago, loving the car, great to have a v8 again. Anyhow the last 2 or 3 mornings on cold start up there is a squeak which seems to be coming from either a belt or pulley at the front left of the engine, it goes away after a few minutes. Has anyone else had this happen? It’s the Ls3 engine. It doesn’t come back till the next morning. Cheers

Some people had the issue and it was wobbly harmonic balancer...
Could be any of the pulleys etc.
Spray some silicone spray on the belt and see what happens...

Yep my balancer has a slight wobble so I’ve booked it in tomorrow morning to get it replaced with a power bond balancer.

Hi. I had a similar issue. Turned out to be the water pump. It was replaced at the last service under warranty. All fixed now. No more squeaks
