[/IMG]Hello .

Need some help with this. I was going to order some rear sports mufflers and was told that the rear mufflers are the same as a VE .Looking at the car it does not have a flange as such with two bolt holes and a gasket.

Can anyone advise or has changed rears on a VF

Looking for a VE
Under my SSV it looks exactly the same as a VE. Doesn't look like yours. I guess the Redline uses a different exhaust? But that wouldn't make too much sense. Either way, just go cat back anyway ;)

I have a VF SSV and I just fitted the VE Xforce catback 3" mild steel system to it no problem to fix the lack of audible appeal.
Couldn't be happier completely transformed the car.

So no loud noise on highway at 100-110kph, feathering throttle at between 1500-2100rpm?

Don't suppose you could get a video/audio file ? :) I'd love to hear it.

Sorry for the late reply I haven't been on in a while... Are you still looking for an exhaust. If so I can try upload an audio file.

And at 100 -110kph I haven't had any problems in terms of the noise thus far.

Unsure if there was any visual difference, but remember the VE autos with AFM did have a different rear muffler to the manual versions to prevent droning when AFM kicked in.

That being said, as others have commented, they are the same... VF is effectively the same as the VE under the skin :)

For what it's worth, if you were looking for a quality system, I can do the Manta twin 2 1/2" cat back for $1195 shipped, or twin 3" for $1495 shipped.

I'm also doing a special for October for the whole thing. Extractors, cats and the system for $2460 shipped in 2 1/2" or $2760 for 3".
