If I wanted to spend maybe $800 on parts for a VF SV6 I think a better way to go would be a mild brake upgrade, eg. SH V8 rear calipers, V8 front caliper brackets, new discs (even DBA street series), and some good pads. This would make the car look and go a little better as opposed to just making it noisier... And if you waited till the brakes were due anyway it'd only really be the calipers and brackets that cost extra over the existing stuff.
