Thanks guys. This carbon vinly is for just temporary as I did it by myself and it comes out awful. You cant see On pics.
I park always between mates cars when I go to work but in shopping centers is hard to find secure space.
For rims ill be on these for now till get some money for good rims and tires.
Now im working on subwoofer box. Pictures when im dones but ill get new one very soon as this is not the best one.

I'm not sure why everyone's obsession is with carbon vinyl. All of the vinyl I have seen doesn't even look like carbon fibre. Why aren't they glossy? You need resin to hold the carbon mat and that's glossy.

If you were to wrap a semi-trailer in carbon vinyl, now that would be funny, but I don't see any serious use for the stuff.

Maybe I am too old and don't get it. Just like I don't know how One Direction can get a record deal.

Just remembered the Redline has fake carbon fibre along the dash and the Evo had fake carbon fibre around the head rest of the Recaros'. Looks like I am a bit of a hypocrite.

Just instaled subwoofer but pictures will be tommorow.
And on way to home in street nex to min I run over Stanley knife.
So bought a new tyre $300.
Diler was giving me offer. My rims and tyres for set of 20" with tyres plus I need to give $1200.

Ever heard of raw carbon fiber? Pretty sure it's shiny because they get a clear coat of paint. Also depends on the sheet of carbon fiber, some are shinier than others.

OP. Not really a fan of the carbon fiber roof. Should've done gloss black instead I reckon.

It's usually shiny because of the resin. If they do clear coat it, it is because the epoxy resin is not UV stable and goes yellow.

Dry carbon, the good/expensive stuff, isn't glossy.

All of the vinyl I've seen isn't as glossy as this.

But if it does look like this then it must be the good/expensive vinyl then.

My point is that it's very easy to spot what is fake and what isn't. There are only two things where fake is often better than original.

I think I will pain roof with matte black (plati dip).

I saw a white Lancer yesterday with a painted black roof and it looked really good. I think it would look pretty good on the white VF as well.
