VF sv6 voice prompt

hi I recently purchase a vf sv6 this car does not have bult in gps but every time I drive it tells me the speed limat of the road I'm on if I go 5 kms over even while on the phone. Once I got over the speed by 5 kms it says "the speed Limat is 60kmph" while i doing 65 or at shops car park 10kms. Now I understand no speeding but there must be a way to turn this off Iv looked everywhere in the book and online and found nothing. I was told to go into settings and turn off voice prompt but there is nothing in settings. Any advice?

You need to press the menu button on the stalk and go to the second icon and scroll up or down can't remember and you will see the speed alert which you change or turn off the speed alerts.

I have tried that and that is the speed alert and does not fix what I'm talking about. It's currently off.

What I am talking about is all the features of sat Nav voice comes on and tells me speed camera ahead or having go traffic zone ahead but there is no sat Nav so I don't know where all this info is coming from. However it's all correct.

If you dont have the nav button on the MyLink I would be contacting the dealer and asking them as it might have aftermarket sat nav fitted where you need to press a certain button and it shows up. They tried this on me when they ordered me the wrong car and I said no thank you I want the genuine one dont want to press random buttons for the sat nav to work.
