VF wagon trailer harness

Does Any know if the wiring harness from a VE will work on a VF and are the tow bars the same on both for a wogon

I bought a s/h genuine towbar and harness with modules, but the wiring woundn't work, had to go to Holden and program computer to accept harness to work, Snap On and another make scanner wouldn't do it, VF2 Calais
