VF SS Wagon
Hi all,

I’m going to be getting a set of the Shockworks coilovers installed on my VF wagon and would aporeciate thoughts from those who have them. Particularly interested in ride height with 19” wheels (photos greatly appreciated).

I currently run King ultra lows and love the stance and am hoping to achieve similar with the Shockworks.

Thanks heaps

Interested to know as well. Probably get a set when the Magnum is due for new suspension.

Imoegnr,
I asked Brett about durability/rebuild time as I've heard coilovers need to be rebuilt...
He said they're just getting the first returns now, most 100k old.
$150 to rebuild each shock as new.
I'm doing it man. Before Christmas I reckon.

Probably at around 70k kms if they just wear out, about half way there now, just clocked up 38k.
Replaced the Maloo dampers at 55k with Koni's. LH rear damper was leaking, RH front strut developed a rattle.

I've heard coilovers need to be rebuilt...

Rebuildable is one of the advantages (although it's not really a thing on the Taiwan/China ones), people hear this and forget that regular shocks are a throw away once they're fried after 40,000km.
