All done and sorted. So much louder than the stock setup ! Look identical to SV Black MSE on R8 with fraction of the cost if I purchased it from HSV.

Did you take a look in the square boxes your MSE pipe comes off when you drilled the hole?

I presume they are extra resonator spaces to improve the tone/air flow?
Always thought they look very messy compared to the standard (or even aftermarket elbows)

Smaller one is totally hollow. Larger one where MSE attaches has like tube in the middle moulded all from the same piece of plastic as the chambers.

Managed to break two tabs on the engine cover so I am putting JB weld to use again with small strips of plastic to reinforce it :)

I took the car for proper drive. I absolutely love the sound.

If you are after realy deep bassy growl I definitely recommend this setup.

Now that I ve worked out the details with parts etc. should be breeze to do :)

Aah the anti J Lo mod!

Looks good, just like mine in fact. Amazing how the perforated part breaks up the wheel a bit

It feels really good too. It's a bit thicker than the standard one.
