What airbox are you using ?

Yeah stock airbox. I attached multiple images...

I read a bit about this kit and apparently K&N found that the only restrictive components on VF were the air filter and intake duct. Some talk about airspeed etc...
Stock airbox duct flows well and picks up the air from good location anyway...
They found this worked better than their common pod filter setup...

Yeah...sold the HSV setup the other day...

I really like the clean look without all piping etc.

To me, the OEM setup looks like half baked prototype. I really hate the way they did it...

I obviously can't tell any difference yet apart from being quieter due to removal of sound tube...

We'll see how long it stays this way...
