Ended up smashing a set of nighteye leds in my lows and they have been good.
I had them in my highs for ages and they are like spotties.

I've put a set of crystal clear whites in my low beam, too be honest it's a pain to put in but at least they are way better than standard.

I have used this HID kit in 4300K temperature. Excellent fit and not overly bright. Still have a good cutoff. I have never been flashed. Have them professionally adjusted. As an aside, some Holden Equinox models come with HID headlights but without self-levelling or washers. I suspect, but could be wrong, that they are only required above a certain light output, either 1800 or 2000 lumens.

Anyone had any experience with insurance companies if they have a LED or HID fitted in the lens? Don't want to be involved in an incident and be told that I'm not covered due to unroadworthy lights.
Assuming I will be fine with Highway Patrols provided I'm not acting like a hoon...

Worth checking the alignment beforehand as well to see if they're pointing lower than before.

if they were a factor in causing the accident then you would be in hot water.
