Do all these models have big bore or crackling exhaust sound. I am looking for a later v8 holden which is quiter. Thanks

Yes all the V8's have the same exhaust.
It might be possible to configure the bi-modal exhaust to be quiet all the time - anyone?

VF1 is quieter, but isn't an LS3.

I wouldn't refer to any stock Holden exhaust as big bore.

VF1 is quieter, but isn't an LS3.

i guess you eluded to it, but the VF2 rear muffler design is different.
and provided we are talking holden not hsv, then yes

hsv is 2.5 vs 2.25, which the gtsr also has the h-pipe, and hsv LS3 have different header design, being short tri-y vs log

yes you can go into mylink and turn off "sports mode" to keep the bimodal closed (quieter) for vf2 v8s

series 1 is stupid quiet when stock. might even suit you better.

nothing wrong with the L77 imo.
