Had NRMA look into it for me (Road side) and they said its most likely a pulley, no loose bolts or anything. @Ron Burgundy the harmonic balancer does appear to have a wobble which he recommended replacing with a non OEM part (performance part instead). @Subju oil has been checked and temps were fine, was serviced around 112,000KM and is now at 117,000KM. Will most likely hit up a local mechanic for a looksie.

Cheers

This is what mine sounded like when one of the pulley tensioners failed early on (around 60k kms)

Someone needs to make a thread with all the different noises and what they most likely are.
I keep hearing it’s just a characteristic of LS V8’s :p

I would hazard a good guess at the belt tensioner pulley, right side of engine. This nefarious, old-tech but stressed piece of machinery has failed at some stage on every V6 I have had from 1992, but not the present VF (yet!). Cheap and easy to fix.
