VFII Calais V LS3 Bimodal Exhaust

Just brought a new LS3 Calais V, and cant work out how to turn on / off the Bimodal Exahust as there is no setting for it in MyLink.

Still running car in, but appears a lot quieter than a Redline I took for a test drive with the Bimodal on!

The car has to be on and then it will appear in your settings, ofcourse if the calais comes with the bimodal, im not sure

Thanks mate, I will check in the morning. Calais V has bimodal, I even climbed under the rear to check the valves were there!

Yes bimodal on/off in Calais V VF2 LS3 mylink menu settings. The bimodal exhaust system can be turned on or off through the Configuration Settings menu in the infotainment system. See Vehicle Personalisation p 105.
Bimodal Exhaust
The bimodal exhaust system
incorporates valves in the exhaust
tailpipes to alter the tone of the
exhaust sound. When on, the valves
operate to provide a sporty
exhaust note.
Tick indicates the feature is on. (you will hear the change even at idle immediately on selecting on).

Driving easy below 2000 rpm and generally quiet - on start and pushing bimodal it sounds incredible. Love this package and the LS3.

Calais LS3 has the same driveline as Redline.
Sounds every bit as awesome.
Enable the bimodal then find a tunnel somewhere. You know the rest.....

Got it sorted thats Nick, as you said the motor needs to be running for the Sports Mode sub menu to appear in MyLink.
Sounds a lot better now!
