VFII SSV Engine Oil

What engine oil are other owners using in their VFII LS3
I assume it is fully synthetic and same spec as the Dexos1 as per owners manual?
If so what brand please?

I use penrite enviro 5w30 in my 6.0 which afaik was made by penrite to suit holden oil specs and its great oil but mine doesnt have piston slap like alot of ls3s,you could run some thicker oil to maybe quieten it down a bit.

Like tyre choices, everyone will throw out a different opinion. Best to do your own research as Ron mentioned in his post with a search... Plenty of good info around already.
