VH BY2?

Hi all. I'm trying to confirm what I have as specific info for my 83 VH is hard to find.
It is tagged:
L31 (308) M21 (4 spd man.) GU4 (3.08)
Engine is VT code with B cast heads
Colour is 1B 003-D which is Manet Blue. Looks very similar to Police Blue (1B 079)
From the info I've read BT1 and BO1 had the 4.2 ltr 253
and the BY2 the 5.0 ltr 308.
As the 308 was government issue only in the VH, have I got a BY2 or could it just be
some politician putting in a special order?
Either way I don't think there would be many around with these specs?
Any facts would be much appreciated.

Yep from my understanding Vh/vk the 308 manual is the BY2 is the police pack code. The BT1 was the 6cyl and the 253 as the B01.

typo sorry, the 6cyl BT1 was only the code for the VH..... also I found they included option codes of
...it also included U11, V85 and E28 as part of the police pack
