My VH has a problem and I cant seem to diagnose properly.
When cold car starts first time every time. When it warms up it coughs and splutters and dies. This is happening more frequently. The spark plugs now have a black carbon deposit. Is my automatic choke staying on and starving the carby of air?. How would I fix such a problem? Any suggestions

Do u have a solnoid with plunger next to your throttle? my washer on mine has to be redone, so it holds the plunger in place against the throttle for that extra bit further to keep her going if the idle screw falls off the cam.
