VH commodore centre vents

Can anyone shine any light on how to remove and re-Install the centre AC vents on the dash in a VH commodore…. Having a prick of a time here!!! Cheers

Not easy... have you tried getting behind the vents via the centre speaker grille?

Hey Derek, I managed to get them in. There’s no access from the centre speaker. I put the longer shaft in first and then twisted it up, then a screwdriver in the middle section to pry it into the other side locator. Then same on the other side. Had to be pretty forceful, and it was tricky keeping the little rubber washers in place as well. Cheers
