so what does the temp gauge work off? the one in the engine or the one in the water??

The link you provided is the temp sensor, takes in the temp of water passing though the head.

The oil pressure sensor, is near the oil pump.

okay great! water passes through the head?? i thought there was oil and **** in there haha shows how much i know about cars.. okay thanks.. i replaced that so i guess tomorrow ill will take a look at the wiring and track it down see if it has any cuts or something...
