VH new paint job

Hi there, Im just after some opinions. I have a VH SLX with a red interior. Currently the outside paint is silver but looking at going a deep red. I was looking at Dodge Stryker red. Looks amazing but bit involved and could be expensive. Any ideas on some reds or any colour that wpuld suit with the red interior. I was looking at Blue but think it may clash to much. Please help haha

Personally I think red exterior with red interior will clash too much. Too much red, no matter what red you want to use

Possibly black, white, grey or silver, with the red interior should look pretty good, in my opinion

A suggestion is take part of your interior...say an arm rest along to a paint shop and compare their colour charts they have, to your interior part, and see what colour might be suitable to your taste....Then you can price those paints out whilst you are there...So win win situation

Thanks mate. Do you think a dark blue would go with the red? I was looking at Brilliant Blue Mercedes. Love the colour but just not sure. White, grey and silver are to plain. I want something that turns heads

I like the looks of the red interior in my Odyssey (grey) Monaro, that ccolour combination helped make me buy it. From memory though the VH red interior was a lot brighter and there is a lot more of it??? How about a 2 tone paint job like the SLE's had, think they had Maroon over silver which might look good with red interior.

The red interior looks nice on your rig. Grey may be an option. I'll start serching. The 2 tone on the SLE's do look sweet but ive got an SLX and not interested in doing a moch

This my current red interior. Been sitting for 10 years in my mums backyard. Needs a clean but should scrub up all right.

Unlike Henry Ford who said you can have any colour as long as it is black car companies realised that people all have different tastes.

i really like the deep red colour that the latest Mazda comes out in. Only problem for me is that the paint alone would come to about $2000. I am going to stay with the colour I already have. It is a copper colour that the NZ vh came out with. This colour looks good with the black seats I have. This colour would look crap with your red interior. Have a look through the colours that the vh came out with and see if there is anything you like.

That blue really looks good. I imagine that car had black seats. Not so much with red seats however it's your car and if you really like it go with it.

I'm not a fan of the red interior but if you like it that's what matters.
