VH seats into VN Calais

    Hi I have a 1983 VH comm and had some mad seats custom made for it and now I have a 1992 VN Calais and want to put my seats from my VH into my VN can this be done and how?

    you should be able to coz you can put vn seats into a vh probarly just the rails

    Ask someone if you need an engineering cert but i don't think you will just call up a mechanic or interior place to make sure first unless someone here can correct me.

    if the seats swap straight out you wont need a engineer cert, if you have to modify the rail at all you will need a engineer cert..

    Slug powered VZ, a VE Calais & your mum.
    you will need the rails from the VH I'd imagine and unbolt the VS rails and swap the VH parts over, bolt the rails back together and and bolt the seat on. Actually I'm pretty sure the seat base should bolt straight on?

    the vh fronts have the same hole pattern at the front im pretty sure

    Rears won't go in as the VN is physically wider. As for the fronts you should get a way with just swapping the VN rails on to the frames.
