Vh sedan: Bolts in boot

Gday,

I was looking around in the boot today and noticed 2 bolts coming up through the boot floor,
From under the car you can see there is one either side of the fuel tank strap.

Does anyone know what they would be for?

Once upon a time they would have been for the towbar.

yeah no doubt the towbar was removed and the bolts refitted to plug the holes

Yeh i did ages ago but i went to the meeting on thursday, and im bringing my vh to bendigo on sunday, i hope it doesnt rain!

Are you going on sunday to the all holden day? I was chatting with a couple with a single tone maroon vh sle on thursday, they were friendly, also i spotted a nice green sle with walkys in the carpark outside, so there must be a few early commos in the club
