Hi Everyone, I have just bought a 1983 VH SL Commodore Sedan. I noticed the Headlight relay was a non stock item ? is this normal or an aftermarket part ? I intend to restore the car and want to get all the body work and electric's right before I do the restore on her.

I would get an auto sparkie (if you are not handy with auto electrics)
to take a look, especially if you want to restore it back to factory

Hi Thanks for the Reply, I have not been here for a while been layed up in Hospital with a back injury ( healing now ), I have a 1/2 decent knowledge of Electrical, I gather these where put on as the originals did not have relays, only the Fuse under the dash ! Now I know why my original VH kept spiting fuses. I may have to get a new light harness and put her back to the way it should be. Can you buy the original headlight plugs new ? I have the crimping tool so I can put them on myself if I can get hold of some.
