Morning All.

Im just wondering what you guys use for uploading footage to youtube and the likes.
footage is being taken on a Go Pro Hero 3 Black so I cant upload the full video because it is massive.

so what editing software do you use and also what software would be easy for a beginner to use.
I have tried windows movie maker, but it leaves a big black edge around the entire video.

and also when uploading to youtube how can you make it so it will have 720p as an option. (one I tried uploading wouldn't go better then 480)

thanks in advance

Do you want software to process the video and just make the video smaller in file size and resolution . or do you want to Edit the the video and add effects and tweak the video etc ?

a bit of everything really.

such as modifying starting and finishing times.
maybe be able to merge clips and the likes together.
but definitely make them smaller in size. (current 3min video from the gopro works out to around .5-.8 of a GB)
so not really a whole lot of stuff, more so the basics I guess you could say

did get a program called "wondershare video editor"
if anyone has any opinions no that it would be good

Doesn't the free version have the watermark across the video? I downloaded a couple of free versions of different software to play with and the finished product always had a watermark.

Nah, not AVC. It's a good piece of software!
