In the days of everyone having a phone and filming everything, why can't I find a video of someone showing exactly where the AC drain tube is on a VE, and unblocking it?

Lots of yanks on YouTube with American cars doing it, but no Aussies with their VE's that I can find. :(

Trying to sort some wet carpet and wanted to eliminate this as a cause.

If someone can provide a video link, or whip out to their VE and take a photo with your finger on the end of it that would be appreciated.

You don't want to know how it is fixed. It's ugly.

It is located above the transmission. Good luck accessing it.

It can leak. I have photos of it in detail but not able to get to them right now.

The fix...

Remove the entire front interior! BIG Job!

You will not reach it from inside the car any other way.

That drain is about the whole starting point of the whole cars interior fit out.

Hence why there's no video, it's virtually impossible?

No. Not impossible. It was common when the car was released and they had to fix them back in the day.

It was a stressful moment putting the HVAC back in. That one part.
The drain grommet can crack or harden.
I had soaked the rubber drain in Aerospace 303. Then cleaned it and rubbed rubber grease into it and let that sit. Then wiped it and soaked it in aerospace 303 again when I put in in.

OK, gone through anxiety triggering photos to find some gold for you.

Meet the Fokker, the HVAC

The one part I didn't get a clear photo of was under the HVAC. I think this was the drain tube though. Lets say it is.

Once it's out, this is the drain. Its a bit dry.

Once it was conditioned in the previous methods posted it's all lubed up ready to put. put your...

The other place you can get leaks from is here...
(Again this happened from factory on some cars.)
This is under the bonnet where the cabin filter goes. Most of the area has been stripped down in this.
Get some sealant under this part. Lift it up using a nylon trim tool so you don't etch or scratch the firewall.

You can see how the water runs down there at that point with all the intake out. You can also see the drain, which you can clear out to be sure. The drain hose also goes into a hole that can be seen next it, but it isn't a clear downward point so I repositioned our into the drain instead. (The big rubber circle)

If this area leaks, you will get a wet carpet in the passenger foot well.

Seppo VE's and Aussie VE's will have the drain in the same place.

That is way above my pay grade.
I was hoping you could just stick something up the tube to unblock it, like;
