Hey. Just wandering quickly... does anyone know if a P plater in Victoria would be legally allowed to drive a VT XU6? Or does anyone know teh weight and KW so i could do the math? Also.. what are Supercharged cars like on economy? Any help much appreciated
VX II Sedan 4dr Auto 4sp 3.8S VT II Sedan 4dr Auto 4sp 3.8S Kerb Weight 1644kg Power 180kW @ 5000rpm VIC legal limits P platers to 125kw per tonne so power(kW)/weight(Kg) * capacity(litres) = kW per tonne therefor 180/1644 * 1000 = 109.5 kW per tonne. Totally legal, being there has been no mods done to the engine
they are legal to drive, they are 180kw stock, and they are pretty good on fuel, depending on how you drive
get it they are a very nice car should have no problems getting cos u r on your p's economy wise not too much more than a standard v6 maybe 1-2 litres per 100k more.
the only problem with me..being a p player, getting an xu6, is i really doubt i would find an insurance company that would even touch it :bang:
