Vin Numbers What Do They Mean?

Hi All,

I was doing some checking on the red book site and it stated that the VS Berlina had a VIN 6H8VSL19HTL976191

Yet when I checked out a VS Berlina today it had VIN 6H8VSL19HTL968912. The car I looked at was a ex cop car with IRS.

Do the different numbers indicate FE2, IRS etc, etc.

That will tell you everything you need to know The reason the last few numbers are different is because thats your vehicle's build number or "production number".
